It was curious that he seemed not merely to have lost the power of expressing himself, but even to have forgotten what it was that he had originally intended to say.

I slept till midday, filed most of my work, missed my first ever deadline (it was a practice summary though!) but that doesn’t seem to be a problem, took the bus into town to get some groceries for my grandparents, watched some of The Karate Kid (2010) and spent my free time procrastinating.
I’ll try and stay honest on here about how motivated I am to do my uni work and at the moment it’s not at all. I know I’ve said travelling isn’t too bad and I hold that opinion but at this time of year there are days when I leave when it’s still dark and/or come back when it’s dark (which is fine) but it makes for a very unproductive Shaan.
Current aims are to write up all my notes, do all relevant extra practice questions and get to reading a hell of a lot more!
Rivers know this: there is no hurry. We shall get there some day.

I’m writing about these days from the coming Monday (14th) so I’m not sure how much I actually remember well.
Thursday’s lecture was at 2pm and it was good. It’s the History and Theory module and the lecturer is really good. Due to class size we were moved to the Oliver Thompson Lecture Theatre which is a lot bigger than the previous one but less well ventilated.
A thousand moments that I had just taken for granted ― mostly because I had assumed that there would be a thousand more.

'Time keeps on slipping, slipping, slipping into the futuuure' (Seal - Fly Like An Eagle, if you were wondering). It's crazy how it feels like the days are just going by so fast but really I'm not even a month into uni yet!
So much to do, so little time.
